Events 

  • Team Softball – Men’s 

Registration Information 

  • Softball fee is $40 per team member and due at time of registration. 

  • Ohio Senior Olympics 2025 dri-fit t-shirts are optional for an additional fee of $15. Sizes are unisex.  

  • T-shirts will be preordered during registration, please indicate t-shirt size. 

  • Registration closes July 18, 2025, at midnight. 

  • Team Captains will be responsible for completing a Team Roster and submitting it to the Ohio Senior Olympics by August 2, 2025. An official roster will be sent to each captain.   

  • Team rosters shall be limited to 22 persons, including non-playing coaches, non-playing captains and non-playing bench personnel. No more than 20 of these persons may be players.  

Tournament Information 

  • Schedules will be provided by the Tournament Director by 8/8/2025. 

  • The tournament format will be determined by the total number of registered players/teams in each age bracket.  

  • Format will be posted on the website, and an email will be sent to all registered athletes prior to the competition. 

  • The tournament will use 12-inch slow pitch balls (.44 core and a compression rating of no more than 375 psi).  Balls will be provided by the Ohio Senior Olympics. 

  • Teams will be required to provide their own gloves, bats, and practice balls. 

Medal Ceremony 

  • The medal ceremony will take place after the completion of the event and scores have been calculated. 

  • Must be present to receive medals. Medals will not be mailed. 

Qualifying for National Senior Games 

  • 2025 is a non-qualifying year.  

OSO Athlete Information 

  • All details and events are subject to change based on registration numbers, weather conditions, venue availability, and other reasons.  

  • Withdrawals and no shows will negatively impact brackets and heats. 

  • Absolutely no day of event registration permitted.   

  • ALL athletes competing in the Ohio Senior Olympics (OSO) are expected to read and comply with the:

General Rules for the State Games   

  • Athletes should know and understand the rules specific to their sport. The OSO uses the rule book created by the National Senior Games Association for those sports that are offered at the National Senior Games. Rules for those events not offered at the National Senior Games are those of the official organizing body.
