Events

·         Team Basketball 3 on 3 Half Court

Registration Information

  • Basketball fee is $70 per team member and due at time of registration.

  • Ohio Senior Olympics 2025 dri-fit t-shirts are optional for an additional fee of $15. Sizes are unisex.

  • T-shirts will be preordered during registration, please indicate t-shirt size.

  • Registration closes on August 29, 2025, at midnight. 

  • Each team captain will submit a roster to Ohio Senior Olympics by September 5, 2025.  An official roster will be sent to each captain to be completed. 

  • Team rosters shall be limited to ten persons, including non-playing coaches, non-playing captains and nonplaying bench personnel.

Tournament Information

  • The tournament format will be determined by the total number of registered players/teams in each age bracket. 

  • The tournament format will be posted on the website, and an email will be sent to all registered athletes on September 12, 2025.

·         Balls provided.

Medal Ceremony

·         The medal ceremony will take place after the completion of the event and scores have been calculated. 

·         Must be present to receive medals. Medals will not be mailed.

Qualifying for National Senior Games

  • 2025 is a non-qualifying year.

OSO Athlete Information

  • All details and events are subject to change based on registration numbers, weather conditions, venue availability, and other reasons. 

  • Withdrawals and no shows will negatively impact brackets and heats.  

  • Absolutely no day-of registration is permissible.  

  • ALL athletes competing in the Ohio Senior Olympics (OSO) are expected to read and comply with the:

State Competition Protest Policy 

General Rules for the State Games  

  • All rules, policies, and the code of conduct can be found on the OSO website: Ohio Senior Olympics Website

  • Athletes should know and understand the rules specific to their sport. The OSO uses the rule book created by the National Senior Games Association for those sports that are offered at the National Senior Games. Rules for those events not offered at the National Senior Games are those of the official organizing body.

  • The competition will begin with Free Throw Shooting and will be followed by the  3 - Point Shooting.
