Events

  • Singles – Tuesday, June 10, 2025 - 10:00 a.m.

  • Men's and Women's Doubles – Wednesday, June 11, 2025 - 10:00 a.m.

  • Mixed Doubles – Wednesday, June 11, 2025 - 1:00 p.m. 

Registration Information

·         Bowling fee for 2025 is $70 and due at the time of registration. This includes singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.

  • Ohio Senior Olympics 2025 dri-fit t-shirts are optional for an additional fee of $15. Sizes are unisex.

  • T-shirts will be preordered during registration, please indicate t-shirt size.

  • Registration closes on May 23, 2025, at midnight.

Tournament Details

  • Check-in begins at 9:30am on both days for the 10:00am events.

  • Check-in for the 1:00pm event on Wednesday, June 11th, begins at 12:30pm.

  • The tournament begins at 10:00am for the morning session and 1pm for the afternoon session.

  • Lane assignments will be provided upon arrival at the bowling alley.

  • Each event will be three games.

  • The tournament will be a scratch format.

  • Athletes do not need to be sanctioned to compete in the state or national games.

  • The lane fee for each event (singles, doubles, mixed doubles) is covered in the OSO registration fee.  You will not be required to pay for each event on the days of the tournament.

  • Athletes may compete with one partner per event. Doubles and mixed doubles are considered events; therefore, athletes may not compete in more than one age division for doubles or mixed doubles.

  • The age division for competition for doubles and mixed doubles will be determined by the age of the younger partner as of December 31, 2025.

  • Doubles and Mixed Doubles

    • Each athlete must register with a named partner, both partners must name each other at time of registration.

    • Registering without a partner does not secure a spot in the tournament.

    • Athletes are responsible for ensuring their partner registers.

Medal Ceremony

·         The medal ceremony will take place after the completion of the event and scores have been calculated.

·         Must be present to receive medals. Medals will not be mailed.

Qualifying for National Senior Games

  • 2025 is a non-qualifying year.

OSO Athlete Information

  • All details and events are subject to change based on registration numbers, weather conditions, venue availability, and other reasons. 

  • Withdrawals and no shows will negatively impact brackets and heats.

  • Absolutely no day of event registration permitted.

  • Athletes should know and understand the rules specific to their sport. The OSO uses the rule book created by the National Senior Games Association for those sports that are offered at the National Senior Games. Rules for those events not offered at the National Senior Games are those of the official organizing body.
